Mental health refers to a person’s emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and behave in daily life. It can even affect our physical health & healing. Mental health also influences how we handle stress, relate to others, and make decisions. Sunny Day Therapy’s occupational therapy includes a holistic plan of physical, mental, & sensory strategies; we know that the body & mind are connected. Dr. Day’s doctoral work on executive function and pediatric & maternal programs provide a structured, step-by-step path to self-care, wellness, and organization of the mind & body systems. Family-centered care is our passion; caregiver stress has been labeled a national “crisis.”
