Introducing Sunny Day Publications, a division of Sunny Day Therapy, Inc.
Writing can heal both your mind and your heart.
We’ve all had moments and go through phases of life where we feel empty, overwhelmed, or just spent. We are not alone. Stories are powerful. Words are purposeful. The way that we frame our views of ourselves and others influence our health and happiness. Writing can help us get through tough times and give us clarity about who we are.
Kimberly Day is an occupational therapist and writer who will help you seek healing through writing, reading, planning, and doing valued activities in your life.
Kim loves helping people discover connections in their lives. That is why she chose neurons, the brain’s connecting cells, as part the logo for Sunny Day Publications. She chose to arrange them in the familiar constellation of the big dipper because she wants people to expand their perspectives, look to the skies, and aim big (“reach for the stars”). She also likes the image of the cup because she wants to inspire people to pursue lives in which their “cup runneth over” (Psalm 23). She wants to help people create lifestyles which enable them to be filled and empowered in such a way that they feel like giving to others. She believes that you must first fill up your own cup and allow God to fill you up before you can pour out your gifts to others.
